The step grate combustion System is air cooled reciprocating step grate technology for the combustion of wet or dry solid bio-mass fuel and special waste fuels. Every second grate row is a reciprocating overthrust step that stokes the fuel over the fixed intermediate grates, conveying the fuel down the grate incline.
Combustion Systems: Step grate systems are utilized for biomass with a large component of bark. These systems consists of reciprocating “steps” to move the bark through the stages of the combustion process. Dutch oven style of combution consists of biomass material fed onto fixed grates. Under air fans stoke the combustion.
Steam Systems: For heat generation through steam, the combustion heat flows around coils in the steam boiler producing pressurized steam.
Hot Oil Systems: For heat generation through hot oil, the combustion heat flows around coils in the oil heat exchanger producing hot oil.
The Energy Sysems section of Online Expos serves the solid wood sector (sawmills, planermills, remanufacturing).
